Tulip 'Double Lilac' – 12 flower bulbs (bulb size 11/12)

These 12 'Double Lilac' tulip bulbs will add purple colour to your garden or patio from April through May. Tulips are the quintessential spring flowers of the Netherlands: one bulb produces one sturdy stem with a large, colourful flower. They look beautiful in borders, planters, pots on the patio and as cut flowers in a vase. The bulbs are size 11/12: the circumference of the bulb in centimetres. The larger the bulb, the more vigorous the bloom.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 10–15 cm deep with the tip facing upwards, in well-drained soil. In a pot, you can plant tulips in layers (the lasagna method): this way, the pot will flower for weeks on end.
