Plant these 60 bulbs of the 'Darwin Hybrid' tulip mix between October and December, and you will enjoy flowers in mixed colours from April to May. Tulips are the quintessential spring flowers of the Netherlands: one bulb produces one sturdy stem with a large, colourful flower. Suitable for borders, window boxes, pots on the patio and as cut flowers in a vase. The bulbs are size 11/12: the circumference of the bulb in centimetres. The larger the bulb, the more vigorous the bloom.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 10–15 cm deep with the tip facing upwards, in well-drained soil. In a pot, you can plant tulips in layers (the lasagna method): this way, the pot will bloom for weeks on end.
