The plants are in Ø12 cm nursery pots and are approximately 35 cm tall. The mother-in-law's tongue is almost indestructible: sturdy, upright leaves that can cope with little light and water. It handles a less light-filled spot well, such as a hallway or a corner of the room.

Characteristics

Botanical name: Sansevieria

Also known as: mother-in-law's tongue

Quantity: 2 plants

Pot size: Ø12 cm

Height: approx. 35 cm

Placement: sun to shade

Watering: once every 2–4 weeks; let the soil dry out completely

Humidity: low

Temperature: 15–28 °C

Pets: slightly toxic: the sap can irritate the stomach and mouth if ingested, so keep out of reach of pets

Care

In winter, water only once a month; wet feet is the only thing a Sansevieria really dislikes.
