tulpenmix-sweet-desire-48-bloembollen
Tulip Mix 'Sweet Desire' – 48 Flower Bulbs (Bulb Size 11/12)

Plant these 48 bulbs of Tulip Mix 'Sweet Desire' from October to December, and enjoy flowers in mixed colours from April to May. Tulips are the quintessential spring flowers of the Netherlands: one bulb produces one sturdy stem with a large, colourful flower. They look beautiful in borders, planters, pots on the patio and as cut flowers in a vase. Bulb size 11/12 indicates the circumference of the bulbs in centimetres; a larger bulb contains more energy reserves for flowering.

Features

Botanical name: Tulipa 'Sweet Desire'

Quantity: 48 bulbs

Bulb size: 11/12

Flower colour: mixed colours

Flowering period: April–May

Planting time: October to December

Planting depth: 10–15 cm

Planting distance: approx. 10 cm (enough for a group of approximately 70 × 70 cm)

Position: sun

Winter hardiness: hardy

Pets: toxic to cats and dogs, especially the bulb

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 10–15 cm deep with the tip pointing upwards, in well-drained soil.
