You will receive a Ficus Ginseng, fresh from the grower. The plant is in a Ø17 cm nursery pot and is approximately 40 cm tall. The Ficus Ginseng has a thick, gnarled rootstock and a compact crown: an indoor bonsai that requires little maintenance. A rewarding plant, even if you do not have much experience with houseplants.

Features

  • Indoor or outdoor: Indoor plant – a houseplant for inside your home
  • Botanical name: Ficus microcarpa
  • Also known as: ficus ginseng
  • Pot size: Ø17 cm
  • Height: approx. 40 cm
  • Location: bright, no direct afternoon sun
  • Watering: allow the top 2 cm to dry out
  • Humidity: moderate
  • Temperature: 16–24 °C
  • Pets: mildly toxic: the sap can irritate the stomach and mouth if ingested, so keep out of reach of pets

Care

Prune branches that grow too long just above a leaf to keep the crown compact. You can find everything about light, water, and nutrients in our care guide.

Great service! We were looking for a beautiful olive tree for the garden. Olivera Garden really came through for us here. What we often ran into with other suppliers is that delivery wasn't included, so you had to arrange a trailer yourself, etc. At Olivera Garden, they help you from start to finish. Thank you, Gerrit and the team—highly recommended!

  • Arie De Wit
