Tulip 'Double Flag' – 20 flower bulbs (bulb size 11/12)

Plant these 20 'Double Flag' tulip bulbs (purple double-flowered tulip) from October to December, and enjoy flowers from April to May. Tulips are the quintessential spring flowers of the Netherlands: one bulb produces one sturdy stem with a large, colourful flower. Suitable for borders, planters, pots on the patio and as cut flowers in a vase. Bulb size 11/12 indicates how many centimetres the bulbs measure around; a larger bulb contains more reserves for flowering.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 10–15 cm deep with the tip facing upwards, in well-drained soil. In a pot, you can plant tulips in layers (the lasagna method): this way, the pot will flower for weeks on end.
