Bulb size 10/12 indicates how many centimetres the bulbs measure around; a larger bulb contains more reserves for blooming.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 5–15 cm deep with the tip facing upwards, in well-drained soil. Rule of thumb for mixed bulbs: plant each bulb two to three times as deep as it is high. Small bulbs are therefore planted shallowly, large bulbs deeper. Read more about the right location in our guide on locations.
