The plants are in Ø11 cm nursery pots and are approximately 15–25 cm tall. Thyme forms low, fragrant cushions with small pink, purple or white flowers that bees love. Delicious in the kitchen and beautiful between paving stones or in a rock garden. A boon for biodiversity: bees and butterflies find plenty of nectar here.

Characteristics

Botanical name: Thymus praecox minor

Also known as: creeping thyme

Quantity: 12 plants

Pot size: Ø11 cm

Height on delivery: approx. 15–25 cm

Flower colour: pink

Flowering period: June–August

Position: sun

Winter hardy: yes

Foliage: evergreen

Watering: only water when the top few centimetres are dry; most herbs do not like wet feet

Beautiful in: vegetable gardens, pots on balconies or patios

Bees and butterflies: attracts bees, bumblebees and butterflies

Care

Regularly harvest the tips to keep the plant compact and encourage beautiful branching.
