Tulip Mix 'Darwin Hybrid' – 40 Flower Bulbs (Bulb Size 10/12)

Plant these 40 bulbs of the 'Darwin Hybrid' tulip mix between October and December, and enjoy flowers in mixed colours from April to May. Tulips are the quintessential spring flowers of the Netherlands: one bulb produces one sturdy stem with a large, colourful flower. Suitable for borders, planters, pots on the patio and as cut flowers in the vase. Bulb size 10/12 indicates how many centimetres the bulbs measure around; a larger bulb contains more reserves for flowering.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 10–15 cm deep with the tip facing upwards, in well-draining soil. Only plant tulips once the soil has cooled, usually from mid-October. This reduces the risk of tulip fire, a fungus that thrives in warm soil. Also view our range of potting soil & tools to plant your bulbs properly.
