Tulip Mix 'Pastel' – 48 Flower Bulbs (Bulb Size 11/12)

Tulip mix 'Pastel' blooms in mixed colours from March through April. With 48 bulbs in this pack, you can fill a group of approximately 70 × 70 cm. Tulips are the quintessential spring flowers of the Netherlands: one bulb produces one sturdy stem with a large, colourful flower. Use them in borders, flower boxes, pots on the patio and as cut flowers in the vase. Bulb size 11/12 indicates how many centimetres the bulbs measure in circumference; a larger bulb contains more reserves for blooming.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs 10–15 cm deep with the tip facing up, in well-drained soil. Only plant tulips once the soil has cooled, usually from mid-October onwards. This reduces the risk of tulip fire, a fungus that strikes in warm soil. Also read our tips on watering and the correct location.
